Rhiannon ACEO by NicoleCadet Rhiannon ACEO by NicoleCadet
Rhiannon - watercolour ACEO. Rhiannon was a figure in Welsh mythology, and she has links with Epona the horse goddess due to her appearance of riding a white horse (I know, no white horse in the painting). She also has links to magic, the moon and birds.

This was an experimental piece which I thought was going to end in disaster. The watercolour just seemed to come out wishy washy, I couldn't detail her features and had to repaint and redraw them about three times due to my hands (lucky the paper allowed me to lift fairy easily), and I think I am in love with uni-ball signo pens (they also lift with water). Debating about whether I do a limited edition print run of her for my Etsy store

Amazing detail...I couldn't do so much detail with an ACEO.  This totally rocks.

Thanks Cathy :) Smaller paintings are easier to finish
