They cannot be detained for they will slip away. They have no home, yet none would bar them from entry. They are the balance and each will deal justice in their own manner.

She is really beautiful, the lovely and detailed background is so wonderful. The colors are so intensiv and harmonize very well with the picture. It´s done with watercolors right? :)

Thank you :) The colours are a little more intense than I normally work with, quite possibly because I did a lot of layers!

Yes, watercolours with a tiny amount of indian ink for detailing lines.

i believe that :) my watercolor work is generally following the trend to thinner and thinner layers and smaller and smaller brushes. i swear, eventually it'll become impossible to do anything at all! :giggle:

Wonderful job! Her face reminds me of someone...but I can't put a finger on it. I love the colors and the design of her armour.

Thank you :) The funny thing is that she looks nothing like the reference I began with! I deliberately try not to rely too heavily on references of faces... though a lot of the time I see my own facial features sneaking in... not in this one though!

I enjoy armour and costume design.

She reminds me of some actress, but I forget. And I think every artist's features come out in their works :D I know it happens to me unintentionally!

Thanks Rita. The window was a late edition. Originally it was going to be an open landscape but it just looked too empty.
