Dark Angel

Painted for a weekly sketch group on Livejournal. Not entirely finished - wings need work, lighting's all over the place but it was an excercise in skin tones. The topic was 'Angel of Light', but I'd been looking at Royo and listening to gothic rock all afternoon ... there's an angel, and there's some light, it kind of fits!

Time spent: 4hours.
Painter mainly (some editing in photoshop)

Used own reference shot for pose, and cathedral window design from a school text book (can't remember which one)
